Changes from the recent merge

On January 1, 2015 the merge with J&J Security and Brian’s Security was official. We work diligently at keeping our employees aware of the business accounts that we service. We have 105 accounts and are actively working to close 10 more by the first quarter. With all of these changes we have many more managerial positions as well as basic officer opportunity available. Please remember that we like to promote from within the company, and will continue to do as much as possible. Our accounts include school properties throughout the county, oil refineries, and even a nuclear power plant, just to name a few. If you are interested in any of these sites or positions please contact your manager or Human Resources at HR@brianssecurity.com

New procedure on reordering supplies

Brian and the rest of Brian’s Security management would like to wish everyone a Happy New year! As we return from the holiday season the management team we took a look at our policies and procedures. Good news, we have simplified many procedures. One of those that have been simplified is the way office supplies have been approved and ordered. Please see the new policy below:

-  Simple office supplies (paper, pens/ pencils) will be provided with no request needed, just need to inform management

- Equipment that could improve employee’s productivity
- The employee conducts research to find the best price possible, and give information to their department manager

- The manager will evaluate the potential increase in productivity if the item is purchased.
- Each department manager will make the final decision on the purchase.

Please leave a message below and let us know what you think!

Ordering the new office furniture:

Upon our annual review of Brian’s Security it has come to our attention that most of the furniture in our offices needs to be replaced. I believe in taking care of the employees first. Each department manager will survey their employees to determine their new furniture. The following is the schedule we will use to replace all the furniture in our inventory

Surveys go out Monday morning Jan. 19 and are due back by Wednesday Jan 21.

Once surveys are tallied the furniture will be ordered, this will be completed by the end of the week. My goal is to have all furnishings delivered and set up by the end of the month.

Please contact your department managers if you have any questions or comments, we look forward to hearing from you.

… and the WINNER IS BOBBY SITH

Thank you everyone for the heard work that you put in to enter into this incentive, the first quarter we had 5 team members qualify for the drawing, but one can win this quarter’s prize. This incentive was a great opportunity for everyone to  our team was able to interview 10 qualified candidates. The management will work with Mr. Sith to schedule the time and location to present him his award. Keep this momentum going forward and look for the next hiring incentive raffle which will be held August 1, 2015. Please remember to congratulate Mr. Sith by leaving him a comment below.

Clarification on what a Security officer II is

Team, thank you for all that you do, and the professionalism that you show. Since we started this hiring incentives program I have received some questions that I would like to answer in this message. Brian’s Security defines a Security Office II as a security officer that is trained and authorized by the state of Tennessee to be armed while on duty. The question has been asked, could a person be hired as a Security Officer II before he has completed his training, if so, would that qualify for the incentive? The answer is yes to those two questions, as long as he or she has completed over 50% of the training. Please leave any further questions in the comment section below.

Did you hear about the new hiring incentive, it’s a bonus???

Policy: Here at Brian’s Security we understand our team and what value it brings to the team, this is why we are asking for your help. As we approach this upcoming merge we are going to hire highly qualified, dedicated security professionals. Our team knows firsthand as to what it takes to work here and he think you should awarded for it. Starting January 21, 2015 Brian’s Security will award one employee $1,000 every quarter, first drawing will be April 30, for referring a new hire here at Brian’s Security.  The rules are as follows:
